The performance? Pretty much the same as on my Intel MacBook Pro or my iMac Pro! So now as the new MacBook Pros with M1 Max are here and everybody praising it for its enormous performance and with Capture One having optimizations for M1 I bought a new fully specced out MacBook Pro M1 Max with 64GB Memory and 8 TB of SSD. The performance? Pretty much the same as on my MacBook Pro! So in 2019 I bought a iMac Pro with 10 Core 3Ghz Xeon, 64GB memory, 2TB SSD, Radeon Vega 64X 16GB in hope to make my life happy again. But it does not seam to make much of a difference in performance. I have different Capture One sessions and catalogs with photos in different resolutions from 20MP up to 45MP. This are my most annoying things in Capture One. The shown photo always lags very much behind my slider movement. I want to see the photo instantly in full res.Īnd the second annoying thing was changing sliders like exposure.

Also when jumping back to an already displayed photo there was the same pixelated version first.

There was always at first shown a pixelated low res version of the photo and than after 1-2 seconds the full res version.

But it was too slow at switching from photo to photo in Capture One. In year 2019 I had a fully specced out MacBook Pro 16" i9 32GB memory 2TB SSD AMD 5500M 8GB.
